Naugatuck High School Chamber Singers Going Out on Tour

The Naugatuck High School Music Department presented the NHS Chamber Singers PreTour Concert on February 11. Mahlon Peterson directed the members of the group that will be going on tour later this week.

The program for the tour was presented in its entirety for parents and friends at the Naugatuck Congregational Church.

Members of the Naugatuck High School Chamber Singers will travel to Memphis TN next weekend.

During their five day tour, they will perform at Cordova Presbyterian Church. They will perform outside of and take a tour of Graceland. Also on their itinerary is a day that they will attend choral classes at Houston High School and then perform there that evening. They are also scheduled to take a tour of Memphis and perform at a middle school there. Along the way they will travel by private coach bus and enjoy some barbeque cooking.

The PreTour Concert by the NHS Chamber Singers who are going on tour will be held on Tuesday, February 11th at 7:00 p.m. at the Naugatuck Congregational Church. The Chamber Singers are under the direction of Mahlon Peterson. Come and enjoy a preview of the music they will perform while on tour. Admission is free.
