Naugatuck High School Chamber Singers Head to Graceland
The Chambers will tour Elvis Presley's Graceland
Today the Naugatuck Chamber Singers have a late start to their second day on tour in Tennessee. They begin with a rehearsal, then head off to Graceland to perform and then tour the grounds. They will end the day with dinner on Beale Street.

My young traveler texted me today in teenspeak that Graceland was "cool somewhat tacky awesome. The girls and I played with the jukebox at the diner but they didn't have 'Little Less Conversation' in it which irritated me." He reported seeing the airplanes, the cars and house.
Other random observations included
"There is an American flag every 20 feet and a church every ten. The people at the first church that we performed at were really nice."
The meat lover reported that "last night I had a steak marinated in maple syrup served in a skillet with green beans HEAVEN."
"The accents down here are the most adorable things ever."
"Alex (Hernandez) got me (as a secret valentine) so I got a real nice bow tie."
"We have been singing in restaurants and at our hotel (and of course at Graceland.)"
"There was some live music on Beale Street."
