News from Naugatuck's Phoenix Stage Company #9

Here’s your latest Tuesday Phoenix Stage Company Update!

SWEENEY TODD opened to sold out houses this past weekend and the team did a great job. Dan Porri and John Dressel work their magic with the pit and the cast worked the audience from start to finish. We couldn’t be more proud of this bunch and we hope you all get a chance to come out and see this production. At the time of this update, there are only seven seats left for Friday the 20th – that’s right I said 7 – and Saturday the 21st is SOLD OUT! Sunday the 22nd is limited and next weekend is heading in the same direction. Call the box office to reserve your seats NOW!

If you’re out and about in Naugatuck this weekend, stop by and see us at the HARVEST MOON FESTIVAL. The festival takes place on the Naugatuck green Friday and Saturday – we’ll be at our booth from 10 am to 5 pm on Friday and from 9 am to 5 pm on Saturday. If you have some free time and are willing to spell us for a potty break – stop by the booth!

ONE NIGHT WITH FANNY BRICE is COMING BACK TO THE Phoenix Stage in October! We’re really excited to have Mary and TJ back with us and we know you’ll all love seeing this show. Watch for information on dates, etc as we finalize Fanny’s return!

Shout outs to Phoenix Alum Preston Bogan for landing the role of the Scarecrow in the NHS production of The Wizard of Oz, also to Troy Bond, cast member of the current production of Sweeney Todd – Troy will be playing the Tin Man in the same NHS production. Joe Harding will be playing Tevya in the Warner production of Fiddler on the Roof – Break a leg to all of you and congrats!

That brings this update to a close – See you all at SWEENEY TODD!
