Open Auditions Announced for 'The Game's Afoot' at Landmark Community Theatre

Landmark will hold auditions for the first production of the 2014 Season, The Game's Afoot by Ken Ludwig and directed by Eric Wilczak. Showing February 15, 21, 22 @ 8pm and February 16 & 23 @ 2pm.

From the master of mayhem comes a whodunit filled with twists, turns and murderous pandemonium. 1930s actor William Gillette, world famous for his stage persona of Sherlock Holmes, invites colorful characters to his eccentric Connecticut castle for the weekend. The festivities turn deadly when one of his guests ends up stabbed. Gillette must don his Holmes persona, sidestep danger, navigate his own secret passages and unmask the culprit’s murderous romp. Billed as a comedy thriller you will find yourself swept along for a wild and funny ride!

Sunday December 1, 2013 6:30pm-10pm
Monday December 2, 2013 7pm-10pm
Callbacks- Wednesday December 4, 2013 7pm
All auditions will take place at the Thomaston Opera House 158 Main Street, Thomaston CT 06787

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:
Auditioners will be asked to prepare a 1-2 minute monologue (comedic or dramatic) that displays their timing both verbal (voice characterization) and physical (body language and physical humor). In addition, Auditioners will be expected to read from the script for the role they are auditioning for. Auditioners are encouraged to contact Landmark in advance to confirm their interest; however, walk-ins will always be welcome.

Daria Chase- female- mature and confident, self made- not age specific
