Phoenix Stage Company Announces 2014 Season at 'Prom or Not' Party

On Saturday, the Phoenix Stage Company held their third annual anniversary gala at the theater. The theme of this year's party was 'Prom or Not' and attendees were invited to dress in prom outfits from their era or not. Many friends of the PSC came out to celebrate the three year anniversary and some did indeed dress the part in a wide variety of prom attire. Prizes were given for the best couples and prom photos were taken onstage.

As is always the case at the PSC, there was lots of food and drink, prizes, and dancing. The theme of this year's cooking contest was one's favorite party food and prizes were given to the two winners, Chris Evans and Tori Richnavsky. Everyone enjoyed playing BINGO in three different configurations. Many sets of tickets to the show of the winner's choice were distributed to the winners.

During the festivities, the PSC partners announced the 2014 season in a creative way. The prom "principal," Ed Bassett, and the home ec teacher, Agnes Dann, distributed raffle tickets to everyone. Those who ticket was pulled came to the stage to choose a package. Each contained a gift as well as the name of one of the upcoming shows. The shows were posted on a wall and everyone was given the chance to put the twelve shows in the order that they will be performed. This task is harder than it seems and the best scores had only four correct. Here is the list of the shows and dates they will be presented:

Audiences will be asked for feedback, which will be used to help them select the New Works that will be included in the 2015 season.
