Preview of Desultory Theatre Club Presents Terrestrial Violence and Pocket Vinyl

An evening where art and music combine on stage in Torrington.

TERRESTRIAL VIOLENCE & POCKET VINYL

Torrington, CT – Back by popular demand, the Desultory Theatre Club will present POCKET VINYL, Saturday, November 23 at Morrison’s Artist Collective, 63 Water Street for an evening of where art and music combine on stage.

But first, get a taste of something awesome and strange with a showing of “Terrestrial Violence.” “Terrestrial Violence” is an experimental film about an alien named Bob and his difficult, yet telling visit to Earth. In the beginning of Bob's journey he finds himself trying to acclimate to the culture and traditions of human kind but soon realizes that the challenges of Earth life may be more than what he bargained for... From the twisted minds of Local Artists Ebony and Preston Parish! Winner of "Best Experimental Film" at the Litchfield Hills Film Festival!

Then it's time for a HEAPING spoonful of POCKET VINYL. Fresh from releasing their Brand New Album, "Death Anxiety", come witness Live Art and Music combine on stage! Then witness them as they auction off the painting from the show to the highest bidder!  The basics: Eric Stevenson slams on the piano and sings while Elizabeth Jancewicz paints on stage! They've developed quite the following as they've traveled. And they've become a favorite of many a fan up here in the Northwest corner.
