Tovah Feldshuh WILL Take Over for Andrea Martin in PIPPIN September 24
Broadway.com confirms that Tovah Feldshuh will replace the amazing Andrea Martin in the role of Berthe in the smash hit 'Pippin' on Broadway on Tuesday, Sept. 24. As rumored since Ms. Feldshuh took over briefly while Andrea Martin was on vacation, the producers of the Tony Award winning show have announced that four-time Tony Award nominee will assume the role of Pippin's grandmother in the production beginning tomorrow.
Ms. Feldshuh last appeared on Broadway in Irena's Vow in 2009. She garnered Tony nominations for Lend Me a Tenor, Golda’s Balcony, Sarava and Yentl. Her additional Broadway credits include Rodgers & Hart, Dreyfus in Rehearsal and Cyrano. Her film and TV credits include As the World Turns, Kissing Jessica Stein, Lady in the Water, A Walk on the Moon, Covert Affairs and Beautiful People.

Two-time Tony Award winner Andrea Martin played her final performance in the role on Sunday, Sept. 22. Ms. Martin departed from the production to star in the new Canadian sitcom Working the Engels
