Loving Matriarch Marian Wright, 94

Marian E. (O’Connor) Wright, 94, of Naugatuck, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2014 at Paradigm of Prospect. She was the widow of Byron A.W. Wright.
Mrs. Wright was born in Derby, CT on March 7, 1920, a daughter of the late William J. and Sarah (O’Connell) O’Connor.
She was a longtime Naugatuck resident and previously lived in Stratford. She worked as a bookkeeper for various companies. She loved her family and pets.
She leaves her daughters, Marian “Betsy” Birdsall and her husband Gary of Statesville, NC, and Catherine Cromie of Naugatuck; three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 15 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 1006 New Haven Road, Naugatuck. Friends are asked to meet directly at church at 9:15 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount St. Peter Cemetery, Derby.
Calling hours will be held at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck on Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
