Roberta McGowan, 70, of Naugatuck, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at Saint Mary’s Hospital.
Roberta was born in Derby on December 25, 1943, daughter of the late Irvin H. and Eleanor (Siemietkowski) McGowan.
She was a longtime Naugatuck resident. She leaves her brothers, Richard (Alice) McGowan of South Carolina, Patrick McGowan of Morris; nieces, Holly McGowan(Dave) Schmeer, and Anne Albertine; nephews, Patrick (Kelly)McGowan and Michael J. (Tegan) McGowan, Jr.; nieces, HollyMcGowan (Dave) Schmeer, and Anne Albertine; four great-nieces and a great-nephew. She was predeceased by her brother, Michael J. McGowan, Sr. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 21 at 9 a.m.in Grove Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck. Arrangements by Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home.
