Naugatuck Valley Memorial provided the following obituaries.

NAUGATUCK – Mrs. Pauline (Desrochers) Venslow, 90, formerly of Hazel Avenue, Naugatuck, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2011 at Beacon Brook Health Center. She was the widow of Henry Venslow.

Mrs. Venslow was born in Woonsocket,  RI on September 20, 1920, a daughter of the late Napoleon and Amilda (Armstrong) Desrochers.  She was a longtime Naugatuck resident and a retiree of the footwear division of Uniroyal, Inc. where she worked for 30 years.  She was a communicant of St. Vincent Ferrer Church, enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and vacationing at her cottage in Rhode Island.

She leaves her daughter, Paula Bonczek of Naugatuck; a sister, Claire Lebel of Ludlow,  MA; three grandchildren, Jessica Gaffney, Nicholas and Laura Bonczek; two great-grandchildren, Gina Rainone and Ty Gaffney; several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, February 23 at 10am from the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck to St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 1006 New Haven Road, Naugatuck for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am. Burial will follow in St. James  Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck.  Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 9-10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Beacon Brook Health Center Recreation Fund, 89 Weid Drive, Naugatuck, CT 06770. WATERBURY – Roger Roland Aubrie, Jr., 37, of Ross Street, Waterbury, passed away on Friday, February 18, 2011 at Saint Mary’s Hospital after a brief illness.

Roger was born in Waterbury on July 20, 1973.  He was a lifelong Waterbury resident and worked as a home remodeler.

He leaves his father, Roger R. Aubrie, Sr. and Nadine Watlington of Waterbury; his mother, Joan (Farina) Aubrie and step-father, Martin P. Aubrie of Waterbury; a sister, Dawn Aubrie Beaudoin and John Quinn of Oakville; a brother, Martin E. and Sabrina Aubrie of Clarksville, TN; his paternal grandmother, Dorothy Aubrie of Waterbury; two nephews, Andrew and Tyler Beaudoin; two nieces, Makayla Beaudoin and Madison Aubrie; several uncles, aunts, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 23 at 7pm at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck.  Calling hours will be held at prior to the service from 5-7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Smilow Cancer Center, Office of Development
