Obituary: Alannah Nardello, 77, of Naugatuck

Mrs. Nardello was a former Cub Scout leader and member of the Kollege Kapers.

Mrs. Alannah M. (Tripp) Nardello, 77, of Naugatuck, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2013, at Waterbury Hospital.

She was the widow of Felix Nardello. Mrs. Nardello was born in Waterbury on September 13, 1935, a daughter of the late Ralph and Maude (Cole) Tripp.  She was a longtime Naugatuck resident and retired after several years of service from the footwear division of Uniroyal, Inc.  She also worked for the City of Waterbury Business Office.  She was a former Cub Scout leader and a member of the Kollege Kapers.  She enjoyed gardening and making quilts.

She leaves two sons, Bruce Cuddy of San Diego, Calif., and John Cuddy of Virginia; two daughters, Diane Cuddy of California and Maureen Wojtczak and her husband Barry of Naugatuck; a grandson, Justin Cuddy of Michigan; sister-in-law, Frances Tripp; several nieces and nephews; and her good friend Helga Botello.  She was predeceased by her brother Morey Tripp and sister, Sylvia Miller.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 13 beginning at 3 p.m. followed by a memorial service beginning at 4:30 p.m. at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck.  Memorial contributions may be made to American Lung Association of Connecticut, 45 Ash St., East Hartford, CT 06108.  To send an on-line condolence, please visit www.naugatuckvalleymemorial.com
