Obituary: Barbara Louise (Graf) Petrucelli Dies at 68

NAUGATUCK — Mrs. Barbara Louise (Graf) Petrucelli, 68, of Naugatuck, passed away Sunday afternoon Dec. 4, 2011 at the Waterbury Hospital. She was the widow of Daniel P. Petrucelli.

Mrs. Petrucelli was born in Waterbury, June 8, 1843, a daughter of the late Paul and Elizabeth L. (Stone) Graf and was educated in the Waterbury school system. She was a graduate of Wilby High School and was also a graduate of Waterbury Hospital School of Nursing.

She was employed as a registered nurse at Waterbury Hospital for over 28 years prior to her retirement. She was a Naugatuck resident since 1977 and was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Union City. She leaves one son Richard “Rich” T. Rigby of Naugatuck, and a brother, Paul Graf and his wife Jean of Harwinton.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday Dec. 8, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. from the Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. and proceed to St. Mary’s Church. 338 No. Main St., Union City, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.
