TORRINGTON – Mrs. Catherine M. (Dunne) Polomski, 89, formerly ofNaugatuck, passed away on Monday, June 18, 2012 at Paradigm Health Center of Torrington. She was the widow of Ronald J. Polomski, Sr.
Mrs. Polomski was born in Waterbury on September 15, 1922, son of the late William and Mary (Hogan) Dunne. She was a graduate of WaterburyCatholic High School and lived in Waterbury before moving to Naugatuckwhere she lived for many years. She retired after 26 years from the footwear division of Uniroyal, Inc. She was a communicant of St. Hedwig Church.
She leaves her two sons, Ronald J. Polomski, Jr. and his wife Janice of Torrington and David Polomski and his wife Mary of Bloomsbury, NJ; three grandchildren, Catherine and Adellyn Polomski, Domenic Maritano; a great-grandson, Dylan Hurbig; several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday, June 21 at 1 pm from the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck to St. Hedwig Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30pm. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from noon-1pm.
