Obituary: Cathy (Carr) Aldrich Dies at 57

NAUGATUCK - Mrs. Cathy L. (Carr) Aldrich, 57, of Naugatuck, passed away early Saturday morning June 11, 2011 at the Griffin Hospital, in Derby.  She was the wife of Leslie R. Aldrich.

Cathy was born in Randolph, VT,  June 19, 1954 a daughter of the late Elmer and Edith (White) Carr, and had been a resident of the area since moving here as a child.  She was a 171 graduate of Crosby High School in Waterbury.  She had work in retail sales over the years.

Besides her husband Les of 27 years, she leaves her daughter Crystal Aldrich of Naugatuck and two brothers Donald Carr of Waterbury and Gary Carr of Greenwich.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Griffin Hospital Hospice Care Fund, 130 Division St., Derby, 06418.
