Obituary: Domenic W. Natalizio, 80, of Naugatuck

Mr. Natalizio was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a self-employed pilot and flight instructor.

 

Mr. Domenic W. Natalizio, 80, of Naugatuck, passed away on Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at Waterbury Hospital.
 
Mr. Natalizio was born in Waterbury on July 26, 1932, a son of the late Pasquale and Rina (Gabriele) Natalizio. He was a lifelong resident of Naugatuck and an Army veteran who served during the Korean War. He was a self-employed pilot and flight instructor.

 
He leaves his sisters, Katherine Ellering of Waterbury and Olga Hastings of Milford, PA; several nieces and nephews.
 
His funeral will be held on Thursday, Oct. 11, at 10 a.m. from the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck, to St. Francis of Assisi Church, 318 Church St., Naugatuck, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Burial with military honors will follow in St. James Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
