NAUGATUCK — Ms. Francine M. (Tortorici) Accetura, 60, of Tyler Hill Road, Naugatuck, unexpectedly passed away at her home on Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011.
Ms. Accetura was born in Waterbury on July 3, 1951, a daughter of the late Pasquale and Irene (Adamski) Tortorici. She was a longtime Naugatuck resident and a faithful member of Abundant Life Baptist Church. Among her interests were knitting, crocheting, spending time with her family, and especially playing with her grandkids.
She leaves a son, Chad Accetura of Naugatuck; two daughters, Julie Fardy of Naugatuck with whom she made her home, Nicole Orfino of Waterbury; a brother, Vincent Tortorici of Naugatuck; a sister, Linda Soto of Waterbury; four grandchildren, Alexis, Joshua, Dylan, and Tyler; several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 15 at noon at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck.
