Obituary: Jennifer Lynn Szyndlar Dies at 50

A paramedic and lover of animals.

PROSPECT — Jennifer Lynn Szyndlar, age 50, of Prospect, died unexpectedly on Saturday May 5, 2012 at Waterbury Hospital.

Jennifer was born in Waterbury on August 26, 1961 daughter of John F. Szyndlar Sr. and Lorraine M. (Moniz) Szyndlar of Prospect. She was a former employee of Corametrics and 76 Truck Stop and volunteered as a paramedic in Wolcott. She loved animals, worked on a horse farm, and also enjoyed riding motorcycles.

In addition to her parents, Jennifer is survived by two brothers, John F. Szyndlar Jr. and his wife Lisa of Plymouth and James M. Szyndlar of Prospect, 6 nephews, Zachary, Jacob, Marshal, Mitchell, Samuel, Matthew and 1 grand nephew, Damien.

The funeral services will be held on Wednesday May 9, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. from the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home 26 Waterbury Rd. Route 69 Prospect to St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church 4 Union City Rd. Prospect for a mass at 11 a.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday morning from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Memorial and Honor Program 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, Tn 38105 or to the Connecticut Humane Society 701 Russell Rd. Newington, Ct. 06111.
