Oakland Park, Fla.: Kenneth C. Pires, 69, formerly of Naugatuck, Conn., passed away on March 22, 2013.
Kenneth was born on June 15, 1943, to Manuel and Coralee Pires, and grew up in Naugatuck. He was a sergeant in the U.S. Air Force in the mid-1960s, and spent 34 years living in South Florida.
Kenneth ran his own aerospace metals business from 2001 until his passing. Outside of working, he enjoyed camping, spending time with friends and being outdoors. There is no service planned.
