Obituary: Kevin Lund Dies at 38

NAUGATUCK — Mr. Kevin J. Lund, age 38, of Naugatuck, died unexpectedly on Friday March 23, 2012 at Waterbury Hospital.

Kevin was born in Waterbury on August 5, 1973 a son of William and Theresa (Langdo) Lund of Naugatuck. He worked as a landscaper and was a communicant of St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church in Prospect. Kevin loved the outdoors, swimming, fishing and most of all spending time with his son.

Besides his parents, Kevin is survived by a son, Emmett Lund of Wolcott, his dear friend, Erica Goode of Wolcott, two sisters, Doreen Lund of Naugatuck and Darlene Freyermuth and her husband Stephen of Watertown, a brother, Steven Lund of Naugatuck, his paternal Grandmother, Marcella Lund of Waterbury, a nephew, Nicholas Lund, two nieces Allyson and Sarah Lund and his aunts and uncles, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lund of Fairborn, Ohio and Mr. and Mrs. Philip Langdo of Waterbury.

A funeral mass will be held on Thursday March 29, 2012 at 9 a.m. at St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church, 4 Union City Road, Prospect. Family and friends are asked to please meet directly at the church. Burial will be in New Pine Grove Cemetery in Waterbury. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday March 28, 2012 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home 26 Waterbury Road Route 69 Prospect.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
