Obituary: Marceline Normandin Dies at 79

Worked as a school aide and was a member of multiple organizations in Prospect.

PROSPECT — Marceline (O'Brien) Normandin, 79, of Prospect passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2012. She was the wife of Marcel Normandin.

Mrs. Normandin was born on April 7, 1932 in Waterbury, a daughter of the late Amos O'Brien and Ann (Cullinan) O'Brien. She worked as a school aide for Prospect schools for many years. She was a member of Friends of Prospect Library, the Red Hat Society and the Ladies Guild. She enjoyed quilting, yoga, tai chi, and crafting.

Besides her loving husband she is survived by her daughter, Patricia Davino and her husband Craig of Prospect, two sons, Robert Normandin of Prospect and Michael Normandin and his wife Marisa of Taunton, MA, one brother, Dr. Charles O'Brien and his wife Lois of Green Valley, Ariz., four grandchildren, Noelle, Justin, Stephen and Sarah.

She was predeceased by one son, James Normandin, and her sister, Rosemary O'Brien.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. from the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Rd, Rte. 69, Prospect to St. Anthony's Church for a mass at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday evening from 5-7 p.m.
