Obituary: Marjorie B. (Evans) Ritter Dies at 96

NAUGATUCK — Mrs. Marjorie B. (Evans) Ritter, 96, of Woodcrest Circle, Naugatuck, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Saint Mary’s Hospital. 

She was the widow of George R. Ritter. Mrs. Ritter was born on September 21, 1915 in New York, New York, a daughter of the late John and Bertha Evans. She was a longtime Naugatuck resident and a retiree of Hubbard-Hall Chemical where she worked for many years. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church.

She leaves her son, Michael J. Ritter, Sr. and his wife Louise of Naugatuck; her daughter, Cecilemarie Palange and her husband Joseph of Greenwich, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Robbie, Jenny, Brittany, Michael, Jr. and Derek.
