I didn't know Michael but I bet he was a terrific Boy Scout. (When I was Girl Scout we were all good girls, so I assumed the same of the Boy Scouts). There really are no good words to help the family right now. But they will get through it somehow like others before them who have suffered immense tragedy. I wanted Michael's parents to know they are in my thoughts and prayers. And one thing I wanted to add, and I hope it's no too personal, but it helped me when I went through the death of someone I loved, was when someone told me the intense pain would go way, for the most part. They said I would never forget, but I would be able to move on. That really helped me, knowing that that horrific feeling would eventually a take back seat many days so I could move on. Sincerely, Karen Ali, Patch Staff

I wholeheartedly agree with Eric. I am thinking of taking my account to a different bank in protest.Read More (NAUGATUCK Savings & Loan perhaps) May sound silly to some, but in my opinion, changing the name of such an historic institution to me is blasphemous, not to mention sounding stupid. ION indeed!
