Obituary: Mrs. Mary (Santonato) Montini, 82, of Naugatuck

Mrs. Montini was a communicant of St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church in Prospect.

Naugatuck - Mrs. Mary (Santonato) Montini, age 82, of Naugatuck, died Thursday, June 28, 2012 at her home. She was the widow of Godfrey Montini.

Mrs. Montini was born in Patrica, Italy, on September 24, 1929, a daughter of the late Thomaso and Virgilina Santonato. She was a communicant of St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church in Prospect.

Mrs. Montini is survived by a daughter: Jean Geter and her husband Brion Geter Sr. of Naugatuck, a son Thomas Montini and his wife Shaune Montini of Naugatuck, six grandchildren: Jill Lennon, Brion Geter Jr., Christopher Montini, Jeremy Montini, Jeffrey Montini and Sarah Montini and 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters and one brother.

The funeral will be held on Monday July 2, 2012 at 10 a.m. from the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Road, Route 69, Prospect, to St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, 4 Union City Road, Prospect, for a mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery in Naugatuck.
