WATERTOWN - Mrs.Patricia A. (Lakatos) Lawlor, age 71, passed away on Wednesday August 17, 2011 surrounded by her family and friends. She was the wife of the late Francis William Lawlor II.
Patricia was born in Naugatuck, CT on July 17, 1940, daughter of the late Louis and Sophie Lakatos. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Waterbury. She had worked as a medical secretary at Associated Womens Health for 25 years. She was a cheerleading coach and longtime supporter of the Waterbury Knights. She was an avid sports fan and loved to travel. She was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church in Waterbury.
Mrs. Lawlor is survived by three sons, Francis Lawlor of Warren, Michael Lawlor of Tampa, Fla., and Brian Lawlor of Fairfield; 1 daughter Maureen Donahue of Watertown; one brother Louis Lakatos of St. Petersburg, Fla.; 2 sisters Dorothy Smiles of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Shirley Muzynski of Canton; 8 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held on Monday August 22, 2011 at 9AM from the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck to Blessed Sacrament Church, 182 Robbins St., Waterbury for a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, East Main Street, Waterbury.
