Obituary: Ruth Eva Quinn, 94, of Beacon Falls

Mrs. Quinn was a resident of Beacon Falls for many years and was a communicant of St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church in Beacon Falls. She enjoyed reading and crocheting but most of all cherished spending time with her loving family.

 

Mrs. Ruth Eva (Wisniewski) Quinn, age 94, of Beacon Falls, died Monday November 5,2012 at the Ledgecrest Health Care Center in Berlin. She was the widow of Francis J. Quinn.

Mrs. Quinn was born in Naugatuck on December 24,1917 a daughter of the late Stanley and Julia (Bulka) Wisniewski. She was a resident of Beacon Falls for many years and was a communicant of St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church in Beacon Falls. She enjoyed reading and crocheting but most of all cherished spending time with her loving family.

Mrs. Quinn is survived by five daughters, Susan Wesner and her husband Arthur of Newington, Christine Quinn of Beacon Falls, Julienne Acosta of Santa Rosa, Ca., Francine Wasko and her husband Michael of Seymour and Ruthi Quinn of Beacon Falls, one son, Michael Quinn and his wife Susann of Beacon Falls, eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Peter Quinn, a son in law, Donald Defala and eleven sisters and brothers.

Ruth's family would like to thank the staff at Ledgecrest Health Care for the loving care that they provided to Ruth.

A memorial mass will be held on Saturday December 1,2012 at 9 a.m. at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church 25 Maple Ave. Beacon Falls. Burial of ashes will immediately follow in St. James Cemetery in Naugatuck. There are no calling hours. The Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home 82 Fairview Ave. Naugatuck is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
