CT Humane Society Proudly Hosting Wolcott Rabies Vaccination Clinic

WHAT: On Saturday, June 7th, from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM the Connecticut Humane Society will be hosting a public rabies vaccination clinic for dogs and cats at Wolcott Animal Control’s Annual Pet Fair. The event is being held at Peterson Memorial Park, located at 123 Mad River Road, Wolcott CT.

WHEN: Saturday, June 7th, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

DETAILS: The Connecticut Humane Society will conduct the clinic at its Mobile Adoption Center (MAC). Rabies vaccinations are $15.00 (cash only, please). Owners with a valid certificate from their previous rabies vaccination must present the paperwork at the event’s registration, and the vaccine received at the event will be good for three years. Otherwise, the vaccine will be good for one year.

All dogs must be on a leash and all cats must be in carriers. The Connecticut Humane Society reserves the right to refuse aggressive, pregnant, or sick animals.

EVENT ACTIVITES: In addition to the rabies clinic, Wolcott Animal Control’s Annual Pet Fair will feature local food and pet retail vendors, animal rescue groups, pet massage and photography, and micro-chipping by the Emergency Animal Response Service (EARS).
