Town Green

Can someone please change the town events sign on the green. You know...the one out of town visitors see as they come up Maple Street past the firehouse. It's been touting the Senior Bazaar (held Halloween weekend) for the past three months! Isn't there anything else going on in town?? That bazaar seems like it was 3 years ago for God's sake. Town Hall employees look out their windows everyday at that hopelessly outdated sign. Hasn't one of them said, "Hey, why don't we change the damn sign?" Visitors seeing that have to be doing a double take, I mean, it's embarrassing. I guess we could leave it up for next year.....sheesh! Give me the damn key for the board and I'll change the damn sign. C'mon...let's have some town pride! It looks like nobody gives a damn. Who manages that sign? Arts Commission?? Mayor's Office?? I don't know. At least take down the current sign if there's nothing to say. Better to be blank than to be hyping an event that happened 6000 years ago. I'll happily volunteer to do it. Somebody do it...please. It's a joke.
