Alleged Drug Dealer Nabbed in Naugatuck
Borough man had over two ounces of marijuana in a school zone.
Shawn Piampiano, 20, of Naugatuck, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, sale of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance near a school and possession of drug paraphernalia on August 30 at approximately 11:46 p.m.
According to police, following a motor vehicle stop on New Haven Road in Naugatuck Piampiano was found to be in possession of 2.26 ounces of marijuana and a scale within a school zone.
Piampiano was released on $5,000 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on September 5.
