Arrest Made in Naugatuck Home Burglary Case

Police say a Bridgeport man stole several tools from a home.

A 36-year-old Bridgeport man was arrested Jan. 8 on an active warrant stemming from a home burglary in Naugatuck last year.

The man, Thomas Fogarty of Wood Avenue, was charged with: 

  • Third-degree burglary
  • Conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary
  • Fourth-degree larceny
  • Conspiracy to commit Fourth-degree larceny

According to police, Fogarty stole numerous tools from a Naugatuck residence on Sept. 15, 2013. "The accused stole a Mikita cordless drill, Mikita skill saw, saw zall, impact gun and other tools from the victim's home," police said. 

Fogarty was held on a $2,500 surety bond and was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 9.

Clown has a rap sheet a mile long. Let's try that Mikita skill saw on his hands. At least the bozo won't be able to steal from anyone anymore. Multiple arrests, jailings, scoldings from judges, probations, programs....the list is endless and frankly tiring.
