Blotter: Man Sells Heroin Near School, Facebook Threats

A Naugatuck man has been charged with selling heroin near a local elementary school.

Chris Levesque, 26, of 43 School St., was arrested by warrant last week after a motor vehicle stop. The warrant was for a narcotics investigation in January in which he sold heroin within 1,500 feet of Hop Brook School, police said. Police said there was a juvenile present during the sale.

Police also said that Levesque had .6 grants of heroin on him when they pulled him over last week. He was charged with illegal sale of a controlled substance: narcotics, distribution of a controlled substance within 1,500 feet of a school, risk of injury to a child, possession of a controlled substance: narcotics, and possession of narcotics near a school. He was released on a $5,000 surety bond.

Police say a 14-year-old boy
posted a message on Facebook saying he wanted to choke a 13-year-old girl. The girl’s mother contacted police, believing it was a legitimate threat, and the boy was charged with second-degree harassment.

A man whom police found urinating
on the side of Route 8 North took off when police pulled over and led police on a short pursuit early Saturday morning, police said.

Clifton Robinson, 26, of 77 How Ave., Hartford, was later located in Farmington after police called off the pursuit.

Robinson was charged with disobeying an officer’s signal, engaging police in pursuit and reckless driving. He was released on a $500 surety bond and given a court date of June 5 in Waterbury.

Jorge Rivera
, 48, of 223 Mount Tobe Road, Plymouth, was charged with second-degree harassment after he continuously called and texted a person whom he was advised not to, police said. He was released on a$1,000 non-surety bond.

, 24, of 49 Anderson St., Naugatuck, was charged with disorderly conduct.

Naomi Maponyane,
25, of 49 Anderson St., Naugatuck, was charged with disorderly conduct.

Nicole Rumble
, 35, of 179 Cannan Road, Salisbury, was charged with sixth-degree larceny after being accused of stealing $23 worth of groceries from Big Y.  

Alexandria Santangelo
, 20, of 138 Lantern Park Drive, Naugatuck, was charged with third-degree assault and breach of peace after an argument.

Jeffrey Bourassa
, 26, of 895 Hamilton Ave., Waterbury, was charged with operating under the influence of drugs/alcohol after being pulled over at 2:08 a.m. on Maple Street, police said.

Nicole Gomez
, 31, of 30 East Grand Ave., New Haven, was charged with operating under the influence of drugs/alcohol after being pulled over at 3:26 a.m. on Water Street, police said.

Matthew Spar
, 38, of 28 Partridgetown Road, Naugatuck, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs/alcohol after being involved in a motor vehicle accident on North Church Street at 8:51 p.m. on Sunday, police said.

Carlos Rocha
, 61, of 264 Colonial Ave., Waterbury, was charged with operating under the influence of drugs/alcohol after being pulled over on Maple Street at 5:38 p.m. Monday, police said.

Aimee Schmaling
, 27, of 51 Murphy Lane, Southbury, was charged with operating under the influence of drugs/alcohol after being pulled over on Maple Street at 5:38 p.m. on Monday, police said. She was also found in possession of pills that were not in proper containers, police said.

Jocelyn Ragusa
, 33, of 104 Meadow Lark Road, Naugatuck, was charged with operating under the influence of drugs/alcohol after being pulled over on South Main Street at 8:35 p.m. on Monday.

Eric Pinto
, 27, of 90 Aetna St., Naugatuck, was charged with disorderly conduct following a fight.

Wright McAruther
, 26, of 1610 Fairfield Ave., Bridgeport, was charged with first-degree failure to appear.
