CL&P working tonight to restore all customers.

Last updated at 1:20 p.m. on Thursday

All but one Connecticut Light & Power customers have power restored from yesterday's storm.

CL&P reported on its website that more than 2,400 Naugatuck customers were without power on Wednesday and the number may have risen even higher during the afternoon. But as of 1:20 p.m. Thursday, less than 24 hours after power started going out in Naugatuck, only one customer was still without power.

CL&P had crews in the borough shortly after power went out when a transformer that serves much of the east side of town blew on Cherry Street.

I could so go for a Hippo Dog right now. Why, Lou Butch, did you have to mention that? Hippo dog, Cherry coke and wings from Al's could be the most fantastic meal of all time.

Your right Paul, the Hippo's are awesome. You have great taste buds. Al does an excellent job with his food. Sorry if I ruined your daily diet. LOL
