Cops: Naugatuck Man Threatened to Shoot Children, Assaults Male

Children were present at the time of the alleged assault.

Naugatuck police say Michael Hack, 32, of 17 Salem St. is accused of threatening to shoot children inside a Candee Road residence on Saturday, the Waterbury Republican-American reports.

In a press release to the media, police said Hack went to the house on Candee Road where his former girlfriend lived. Hack allegedly got into a fight with a male homeowner, and at the time of the altercation he had a chain and a knife, the press release states.

Children were home at the time of the incident, police said.

Hack was charged with second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, risk of injury to a child, breach of peace and carrying a dangerous weapon. He was released after posting $10,000 bond.

Straight to the gas chambers for this loser. Why bother with any other remedies. Be done with him.

Ok wait... This loser said he was going to shoot people? With a chain and a knife? How's he going to shoot with those items? I agree with Chuck, don't waste time with this deranged lunatic, throw him in jail and throw away the key! Sadly another one that'll plead insanity or say "he wasn't serious" and he will walk away with a restraining order that will do nothing to protect these kids or their mom. I'm sure they'll find he had drugs or alcohol in his system and that'll get him off Scott free. Capital "L" for loser....
