Cops: Naugatuck Man Threatened to Shoot Children, Assaults Male

Children were present at the time of the alleged assault.

Naugatuck police say Michael Hack, 32, of 17 Salem St. is accused of threatening to shoot children inside a Candee Road residence on Saturday, the Waterbury Republican-American reports. 

In a press release to the media, police said Hack went to the house on Candee Road where his former girlfriend lived. Hack allegedly got into a fight with a male homeowner, and at the time of the altercation he had a chain and a knife, the press release states. 

Children were home at the time of the incident, police said.

Hack was charged with second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, risk of injury to a child, breach of peace and carrying a dangerous weapon. He was released after posting $10,000 bond.
