Naugatuck Infant's Death Ruled An Accident

The baby's mother rolled over on her while she was sleeping.

The tragic death of Nyalise Curtin, who was just 1 month and 12 days old, has been ruled an accident, the Waterbury Republican-American reports.

The infant died in April in apartment 1R at 20 Diamond Street. The official cause of death is the infant’s mother rolled over on her in her sleep, the paper reports.

The report concluded that the mother’s adult leg rolled over the baby’s body while sleeping.

The Naugatuck Police Department had been investigating the circumstances of Nyalise’s death.
