Naugatuck Man, 70, Accused of Possessing Child Porn Images For the Second Time

Last week we reported that Naugatuck police charged Roger Farkas, 70, of 43 Longview Terrace, with possessing child pornographic images. 

The Waterbury Republican-American sheds more light on the arrest. The paper reports that Farkas served a two-year prison sentence in 2009 for second-degree child pornography possession. However, Farkas’ original sentence was for ten years suspended after serving just two years. 

This time Farkas was charged with first-degree possession of child pornography, which means he possessed more than 50 images, the Republican-American reports. 

Farkas is being held on $200,000 bond.
