The man was allegedly in possession of both marijuana and cocaine.

Wayne Zabilski, 35, of High Street is accused of violating a protective order, smashing a fish tank, and running into the woods where he was apprehended by police early Saturday, Naugatuck police said in a release.

Police said they responded to a domestic disturbance at 4:16 a.m. between a boyfriend and girlfriend. Zabilski arrived at the victim’s residence, which was a violation of a protective order, police said.

While in the house he smashed a glass fish tank and damaged the front door, police said. The accused ran from the residence and was found in a wooded area behind the home in possession of marijuana and cocaine, police said.
