Naugatuck Man Charged with Fleeing from Cops

Man was charged with simple assault and reckless endangerment.

When a police officer requests you stop as part of a motor vehicle stop you shouldn't do what David Brouillard, 32, of Parkman Place is alleged to have done.

Naugatuck police say Brouillard was asked by an officer to stop Thursday evening on South Main Street as part of a motor vehicle stop.

But when the officer was near the vehicle, Brouillard is alleged to have driven away, police said. When Brouillard finally exited his car, he attempted to run before being taken into custody, police said.
