Naugatuck Man Charged with Sexually Assaulting Minor

City man allegedly assaulted a juvenile for several years.

A Naugatuck man was arrested last week on felony charges of sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor in relation to assaults allegedly committed against an under-aged male over the course of several years.

Jordan Torres, 23, of George Street, was arrested on April 17 and charged with risk of injury to a child, sexual assault in the third degree and sexual assault in the first degree, which denotes intercourse using force, threats or with a person who is unable to consent.

Torres was arraigned in Waterbury Superior Court and held on $100,000 bond pending his next court date, set for May 12.
