Naugatuck PD Detective Bureau Seeks Help Solving Thefts

Several automobiles were broken into on Naugatuck's west side in May and June.

Detective Paul Markette of the Naugatuck Police Department Detective Bureau is asking for the public’s help in locating the owners of stolen GPS units and cameras.

During the months of May and June, several automobiles were illegally entered on the west side of the Borough. During his investigation, Markette identified a suspect and recovered 12 GPS units and two cameras, according to a press release from the .

Markette has identified the owners of six of the GPS units but has been unable to identify the owners of the rest of the stolen property.

Should anyone have information or have had a GPS unit or camera stolen during that time frame, please contact Detective Markette at 203-729-7106.
