Naugatuck Police Blotter: March 16-18

The following information was provided by the public information officer at the Naugatuck Police Department. They are allegations until proven otherwise in a court of law.

WOMAN CHARGED WITH LARCENY
Lorraine Plourde, 46, 611 South Main St., Torrington, was charged with sixth-degree larceny and a breach of peace on March 19. No further information was available.

ALLEGED PHONE HARASSMENT ENDS IN ARREST
Christopher Matos, 35, 64 Nancy Lane, Naugatuck, was charged with a criminal violation of a protective order on March 19 after police took him into custody from 66 Nancy Lane. Police said Matos violated a protective order after he contacted the victim several times by phone. Matos was released on a $1,000 non-surety bond and was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on March 20.

PD: MAN DRANK WHILE DRIVING
Ladisomar Lugo, 23, 18 Hazel St., Hartford, was charged with driving under the influence, drinking while driving a car and a failure to have lights lit after police pulled him over on South Main Street at 1:13 a.m. on March 20. Lugo was released on a $500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on March 29.

WOMAN CHARGED WITH DISORDERLY CONDUCT
Patricia Smith, 59, 136 Thunderbird Drive, Naugatuck, was charged with disorderly conduct on March 20 after police responded to 136 Thunderbird Drive for a domestic disturbance between a mother and a stepdaughter. During an argument, police said Smith struck the victim in the face, although no injuries were reported. Smith was released on a $500 non-surety bond and was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on March 21.
