Naugatuck Police Blotter: April 20-21

Man gave police the wrong name during a motor vehicle stop and a woman charged with driving under the influence, police said.

PD: MAN WANTED ON WARRANTS GAVE COPS FALSE NAME
David Leineke, 23, 45 Meadow Lark Road, Naugatuck, was charged with first-degree failure to appear, second-degree failure to appear, interfering with an officer and criminal impersonation after police pulled him over on Candee Road at 7:40 a.m. on April 20. Police said Leineke was wanted on warrants for not appearing in court. He also gave the officer a false name during the investigation, police said. Leineke was held on a total $15,500 bond and was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 20.

WOMAN CHARGED WITH DUI
Sarah O’Sullivan, 29, 123 Golden Hill St., Naugatuck, was charged with driving under the influence and driving under suspension on April 21 after police pulled her over on North Church Street at 3:19 a.m. O’Sullivan was released on a $1,000 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 26.
