Police: Man Steals $6.86 Worth of Socks

The following arrest information was released by the Naugatuck Police Department. An arrest does not equal a conviction and all defendants are innocent until proven guilty.

 

A juvenile from Naugatuck was arrested for taking $350 in materials the site of a housing development being built by Apple Oil.

The teen was charged with third-degree criminal trespass and criminal attempt at sixth-degree larceny.

He was released to his mother and will appear at Waterbury Juvenile court later this month.

Scott Fish, 18, of 11 Mulberry St., Naugatuck, was charged with sixth-degree larceny for stealing a package worth of socks worth $6.86 from Walmart in Naugatuck.

Alfred Guggino, 34, of 151 Andrew Ave., Naugatuck, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs/alcohol after a police officer walking on Old Firehouse Road noticed he was driving erratically. Guggino tried to turn around when he saw the officer, but ultimately stopped for the officer and was arrested. He will be arraigned Aug. 23 at Waterbury Superior Court.

James Cardinal, 29, of 15 Bradley St., Naugatuck, was arrested at 12:04 a.m. on Aug. 10 after police responded to a domestic disturbance at the accused’s address for a fight between a mother and son. During the argument, Cardinal spit on his mother, police said.

Ryan G. Silva, 19, of 350 Maple Hill Road, Naugatuck, was charged with operation of a motor vehicle by a minor having an elevated blood alcohol content after he was pulled over on Rubber Avenue at 2:25 a.m. on Aug. 10. Silva was released on a $500 non-surety bond and is to be arraigned at Waterbury Superior court on Aug. 23.

Casey Wallace, 20, of 151 Andrew Avenue, Naugatuck, was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct for pushing and punching her former boyfriend during an argument, police said.

A juvenile was charged with disorderly conduct after punching his mother during a domestic incident on Bingham Street at 2:19 p.m. on Aug. 10, police said.

Jonathan Feliciano, 21, of 80 Niagra St., Waterbury, was charged with second-degree harassment after he repeatedly called his ex-girlfriend and then showed up at her house and refused to leave, polie said. The incident occurred at 4 a.m. on Aug. 11 on Spring Street.

Robert Vassallo, 42, of 18 Goodyear Ave., Naugatuck, was charged with second-degree failure to appear.

Michael Letts, 27, of 167 Millville Ave., Naugatuck, was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct after he got into a fight with his father and pushed him into a radiator, according to a police report.
