Naugatuck Police Blotter Through Aug. 8, 2012

Naugatuck Police recently filed the following charges. Note that an arrest does not necessarily equate to a conviction.

Mary Taylor, 41, of 131 Sunburst Road, Naugatuck, is accused of biting her boyfriend on the arm and violating a protective order against him, according to a Naugatuck police report.

She was charged with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct and criminal violation of a protective order.

She was released on a $5,000 surety bond. Taylor has not yet entered a plea and her case has been referred to a family relations officer at Waterbury Superior Court.

Shaun Nield, 33, of 216 May Street (Pond Road), Naugatuck, was charged with disorderly conduct after he pushed a family member during a domestic incident, according to a Naugatuck police report.

Matthew Carroll, 28, of 2 Craft Road, Forestdale, N.Y., was charged with second-degree failure to appear.

A juvenile was charged with disorderly conduct after he was found to be out-of-control and had threatened family members.

Donna Ferrari, 42, of 163 High Ridge Road, Naugatuck, was charged with second-degree failure to appear.

George Vassallo, 21, of 52 Walnut St., two counts of violation of probation.

A juvenile from Naugatuck was located in West Haven and charged with violating court orders. He was transported to the Bridgeport Juvenile Detention Center per order of the court.
