Naugatuck Teen Charged With Possession of Stolen Vehicle

The following arrest information was supplied by the Naugatuck Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Francis Santo Jr., 19, of Naugatuck, was charged with third-degree larceny: possession of a stolen motor vehicle, operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license and a stop sign violation on June 28 at approximately 11:23 p.m.

According to police, Santo Jr. was stopped for a motor vehicle investigation on North Spring Street in Naugatuck when it was determined the car he was driving was reported stolen from Oakville in March 2013.

Santo Jr. was released on $2,500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 10.
