The Naugatuck Police Department arrested Armando Salvador, 34, in connection with the stabbing that occurred at about 2 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 25.
The victim suffered stab wounds and was discovered by officers in a residence located at 202 Union City Road, according to the police report. The 34-year-old male victim is listed in stable condition at a local hospital. Police said the incident occurred during an altercation between two individuals at that location.
Armando Salvador was charged with first-degree assault and reckless endangerment. Salvador was arraigned in Waterbury Superior Court and is currently being held on a $350,000.
This incident is still under investigation by the Naugatuck Police along with the assistance of the Connecticut State Police Major Crimes Unit.
