DISORDERLY CONDUCT
A pair of Naugatuck residents were charged with disorderly conduct after police said they got into a fight at Naugatuck High School. A teacher stopped the incident, police said. The juveniles were released to the custody of their parents and are both due in Waterbury Juvenile Court on Sept. 23.
FORGERY
Baltazar Rodriguez, 36, 466 West Main St., Waterbury, was charged with driving a car without permission, third-degree forgery and sixth-degree larceny after he turned himself in on Sept. 14 on an active arrest warrant for an incident on July 30. Rodriguez is accused of taking a company van from 82 Cherry St. without permission and cashing a $100 check taken from a checkbook inside the van, police said. Rodriguez was held on a $2,500 surety bond and was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 14.
HARASSMENT
James White, 32, 100 Glen St., Naugatuck, was charged with second-degree harassment and a breach of peace on Sept. 13 in connection with an incident on Aug. 10. White was released on a $500 non-surety bond and was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 14.
BREACH OF PEACE
Mark Grickis, 43, 1219 Chase Parkway, was charged with a breach of peace and fourth-degree criminal mischief on Sept. 13 after police said he damaged a street sight. Grickis was released on a $1,500 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 21.
FAILURE TO APPEAR
Marsel Backa, 23, 259 Wesley St., Waterbury, was charged with second-degree failure to appear on Sept. 13 after turning himself in on an active arrest warrant. Backa was held on a $1,000 surety bond and was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 14.
FAILURE TO APPEAR
Michael Truelove, 23, 586 Ella Grasso Boulevard, New Haven, was charged with two counts of first-degree failure to appear on Sept. 13 after turning himself in on active arrest warrants. Truelove was held on a total $86,000 surety bond and was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 14.
POSSESSION OF A DANGEROUS WEAPON
A Naugatuck juvenile was charged with possession of a dangerous weapon and a breach of peace on Sept. 13. No further information was available.
DUI
Nicholas Repasi, 22, 191 Scott St., Naugatuck, was charged with driving under the influence and a failure to have headlamps on Sept. 14 after police stopped him on Candee Road. Repasi was released on a $500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 22.

A 17-year-old Naugatuck man was charged with third-degree strangulation, third-degree assault and disorderly conduct on Sept. 8 after police responded to a fight at Naugatuck High School on Sept. 8. The youth was released on a $500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 14.
