Police Blotter: Woman Charged with Possession of Narcotics

The following information was provided by the public information officer at the Naugatuck Police Department. They are allegations until proven otherwise in a court of law.

POSSESSION OF NARCOTICS
Barbara Dirocco, 41, 55 North Water Street, Norwalk, was charged with possession of narcotics and violating a protective order on June 17 after police said she was the passenger in a car that was pulled over. Dirocco was wanted on a warrant out of Norwalk. She was released on a $15,000 non-surety bond to the custody of the Norwalk Police Department and was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on June 20.

VIOLATION OF A PROTECTIVE ORDER
Alan Mancinone, 51, 26 Belden Ave., Norwalk, was charged with violation of a protective order on June 17. Mancinone was released on a $2,500 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on June 20.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT
Michelle Barrett, 34, 27 Corn Tassle Road, Naugatuck, was charged with disorderly conduct and interfering with an officer after officers were dispatched to a disturbance at her home on June 16. Barrett was held on a $1,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on June 17.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT
Evan Hulbert, 32, 7 Sheasby Road, Ansonia, was charged with disorderly conduct on June 16 after police said he was involved in a domestic disturbance on Millville Avenue. Hulbert was released on a $500 surety bond and was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on June 17.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT
Kara Ugya, 31, 578 Millville Ave., Naugatuck, was charged with disorderly conduct on June 16 after police responded to an incident at her home. Ugya was released on a promise to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on June 17.

FAILURE TO RENEW REGISTRATION
Deborah Herens, 54, 3 Warren Ave., Naugatuck, was charged with a failure to have stop lamps, driving with a suspended license, not having proper insurance and a failure to renew registration on June 18. No further information was available.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
Nicholas Guarente Jr., 22, 290 Tawny Thrush Road, Naugatuck, was charged with a breach of peace and first-degree criminal mischief on June 18 after police responded to a domestic disturbance on Mulberry Street. Guarente was released on a $500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on June 20.

ASSAULT
George Vassallo, 19, 184 Meadow St., Naugatuck, was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct on June 19 after police responded to his home for a disturbance. Vassallo was released on a $2,500 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on June 20.

DUI
Timothy Roseboro, 41, 75 Pierpont St., Waterbury, was charged with driving under the influence, improper turns, a stop sign violation and driving with a suspended license on June 19 after police pulled him over on June 19. Roseboro was released on a $500 non-surety bond and was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on June 22.
