Police: Man Attempts to Have Mustang Towed From the Car Owner's Property

The latest in Naugatuck police blotter includes several petty thefts.

David Brouillard, 31, of 28 Parkman Place, Naugatuck, was charged with third-degree criminal trespass and criminal attempt at third-degree trespass after entering the victim’s property on Scott Street and attempting to have the victim’s 1964 Ford Mustang towed from the property, police said.

Doreen Paternostro, 55, of 124 Forest St., Naugatuck, was charged with sixth-degree larceny: shoplifting, after being accused of stealing $53.18 worth of Enfamil baby formula from Big Y in Naugatuck, police said.

Thomas Nappi, 18, of 475 Spring St., was charged with reckless driving and interfering with an officer and officers attempted to pull him over in a car but he sped up and drove away, police said. Officers later found the car unoccupied and Nappi and his two friends ran off, police said.

The two friends, Ryan Sears, 20, of 124 Coen St., Naugatuck, and Richardo Alencar, 21, of 194 North Hoadley St., Naugatuck, were charged with interfering with an officer.

Robert Deptula, 42, of 1395 New Haven Road, was charged with fifth-degree larceny after stealing an iPhone and cash from the victim’s purse at a social club, police said.

Peter Haskell, 28, of 49 Ward St., Naugatuck, was charged with possession of narcotics after police said they found cocaine and crushed painkillers on him during a traffic stop.

Chantel Thiebault, 22, of 18 Tawny Thrush Road, Naugatuck, was charged with third-degree burglary and credit card theft after being accused of breaking into a relative’s house through a bedroom window and stealing a debit card, police said.

Michael Zuraitis, 51, of 6 Carusso Drive, Watertown, was charged with sixth-degree larceny after being accused of stealing a cell phone from an acquaintance, police said.

Nicholas Zawacki, 45, of 75 Sunburst Road, Naugtuck, was charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault after being accused of striking a woman with an open hand, causing a cut on her lip, police said.

Aniello Liguori, 50, of 3400 Whitney Ave., Hamden, was charged with third-degree assault, criminal violation of a protective order and breach of peace after punching and kicking the victim, police said.

Sean Marchant, 21, of 103 Walnut St., Naugatuck, was charged with second-degree failure to appear.

Alonzia Marine, 18, of 288 High St., was charged with disorderly conduct after a fight, police said.

Ian Griggs, 18, of 288 High St., was charged with third-degree assault and second-degree unlawful restraint after a fight, police said. He was also charged with second-degree failure to appear.

Ralph Doty, 51, of 19 Mallane Lane, Naugatuck, was charged with disorderly conduct and risk of injury to a child after a fight in front of a child, police said.

Kenneth Doty, 25, of 19 Mallane Lane, was charged with disorderly conduct and risk of injury to a child after a fight in front of a child, police said.

Amanda Lord, 22, of 87 High St., Naugatuck, was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct after a fight, police said.

Timothy Johnson, 52, of 88 Thunderbird Drive, was charged with breach of peace after yelling and banging on a door, disturbing his neighbors, police said.
