Police: Man Hired to Fix House Steals Copper Piping
The latest Naugatuck Police blotter shows arrests for DUI, theft, other alleged crimes.
A Seymour man is accused of stealing $400 worth of copper piping from the basement of the home belonging to someone who hired him to do work around his home, police said.
Christopher Rundenko, 39, of 5 Rider Ave., was charged with sixth-degree larceny. He was released on a $500 non-surety bond and given an arraignment date of Aug. 7 at Waterbury Superior Court.

Christopher Muskus, 32, of 9 High St., Naugatuck, was charged with breach of peace after being accused of standing outside his home yelling, swearing and kicking at the door Tuesday night at 10:30, police said.
He was released on a $2,500 surety bond and was supposed to be arraigned today, July 31, at Waterbury Superior Court.

Brian Stockton Jr., 22, of 19 Thunderbird Drive, Naugatuck, was charged with operating under the influence of drugs/alcohol after being involved in a motor vehicle accident on New Haven Road. Stockton was charged by warrant for the accident, which occurred on June 8. He was released on a $500 surety bond and will be arraigned Aug. 7 at Waterbury Superior Court.

Ronald Barrows, 34, of 9 Newman Ave., Waterbury, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, credit card theft and illegal use of a credit card after being accused of stealing a former girlfriend’s ATM card and stealing $200 from her account, police said. He was released on a $5,000 bond and given a court date of Aug. 7 at Waterbury Superior Court.

Gilson Rezende, 50, of 49 Noyes St., Waterbury, was charged with operating under the influence of drugs/alcohol and risk of injury to a minor after being found driving with alcohol in his system with his 16-year-old child in the car, police said.

Patrick Dickson, 42, of 132 Auburn St., Naugatuck, was charged with disorderly conduct after pushing a woman during an argument, police said. He was released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

Shane King, 27, of 19 Celentano Drive, Naugatuck, was charged with probation violation.

Carol Gagner, 46, of 173 Osborn Road, Naugatuck, was charged with third-degree assault, risk of injury to a child and disorderly conduct after pushing a juvenile and another woman, police said.

Mary Krupa, 47, of 144 General Patton Drive, Naugatuck, was charged with disorderly conduct after throwing potted plants during an argument, police said.

Police are also investigating the theft of a motor vehicle from Goodyear Avenue over the weekend. As of Wednesday, the report had not been completed, police said.
