A night of heavy drinking at a house party led to a brawl and eventually ended when 24-year-old Salomon Martinez somehow went out of a fourth-story window this week and landed on pavement 40 feet below.
The Republican-American today takes a look at court documents unveiled in Waterbury that show a large party was held at 8 Pond St. in Naugatuck in which binge drinking games, such as beer pong, were played by several people. The documents state that a fight later broke out, leaving blood stains throughout the apartment and shards of glass on the floor, the newspaper reports. Witnesses even told police there were beer bottles thrown, and that Martinez smashed a large aquarium and hit a woman on the head with a computer monitor, according to the Rep-Am.
Police have not said exactly how Martinez ended up going out a window, which caused severe injuries from which he is fighting to stay alive. The court documents also do not reveal any description of how that happened, according to the Rep-Am. Police told Naugatuck Patch the suspects are not cooperating.
Martinez, who lives in Stratford, has severe injuries all over his body - some are internal - including bleeding on his brain and he is on life support at Waterbury Hospital.
Police have arrested two 20-year-old Naugatuck men in connection with an assault on Martinez: Matthew Chandler, of 24 Myrtle Ave. and Kyle Gonzalez, of 10 Anderson St.

These cards are supposed to be for people that cant afford food and much like the other subsidies for people that truly require the help. I guess they are getting more than enough to not only buy food yet to also to buy other things.
