Report: Man Killed in Accident on Horton Hill Road

A one-vehicle car crash in Naugatuck Friday claimed the life of an unidentified man.

According to a report by the Republican-American, the man was driving a Dodge Durango on Horton Hill Road when it suddenly crashed into a concrete wall and the cab burst into flames.

Residents reported to Patch via our Facebook Page that the road was closed while emergency crews were on scene.

Fire Chief Ken Hanks referred a request for comment to Assistant Chief Paul Russell, who wasn't immediately available Friday afternoon.

Patch will update this article with more information as it becomes available.

to Naugatuck resident altho you may have concerns about the road in general to post them on the patch when a man lost his life is not appropriate if you want to voice your concerns you should go to a board of mayor and burgess meeting mayor bob gives the residents a time for public comment. Your post was nothing but speculation
